And the gloomy aesthetics of the «Flying Dutchman», give out such a confusing cocktail that impressions roll like a sea wave.

How to design a party in «pirate» style?

Try to show imagination and formulate an original idea. If desired, it will not be very difficult to find wooden sabers and fake pistols «for antique», but with «atmospheric» anchor, steering wheel and canes.

Forget about them. An interesting option is to draw several posters with diagrams of ships, «old» inscriptions, plans to capture islands and fortresses. This decor is perfect for an unusual party scenario in «pirate» style – decorate your small room with posters and from the outside everything will look as if you are definitely preparing something unkind in the neighboring archipelago.

May the sea God protect you from platitudes in the form of hats and «pirate belts» from a neighboring sex shop or a shop of «unusual» gifts. Such things turn the holiday of cheeky sea robbers into a children's matinee.

Turn on rock and roll. Put on bandanas of aggressive colors, wind the «knocked» eyes, simulate the arms and legs lost in battle. You don't have to be those pirates from the 17th century - your party in «pirate» style can be quite modern.

And what is the most memorable thing in the image of the famous pirate except for the equally famous triangle? Of course, boots! With gold-plated plaques, on heels, high or low - you choose according to your taste and, as they say, color. But remember that pirate leisure is quite active (well, unless a sea robber does not sleep face in a salad after an empty bottle of rum), so the shoes should still be comfortable.

You should not limit yourself to viewing all parts of «Pirates of the Caribbean». Especially if you have already created all the necessary entourage and even turned the room into a pirate lair. «Promote» theme – you can come up with an intellectual quest using drawn maps, modernize the game into «sea battle» (play all together on a big whatman 100*100) or write original fantasies to perform  tasks or answers to questions (interesting «pirate» tasks ).

And you can also surprise the guests with non-standard legends about each of the gathered. Come up with funny and symbolic names of ships «captains», a legend about their «feats».

A pirate-style party will definitely not do without this «joy» of all sea robbers. However, it will be difficult for modern flibusters to drink this drink «clean» from large mugs. So we advise you to make cocktails with rum.

Non-standard idea - a large bowl with «pirate punch». Mix half a liter of dark rum, half a liter of red wine, 250 grams of sugar syrup, 80 grams of black tea, 10 grams of lime and orange juice. Add spices.

Warm salads with seafood will be a good addition to such a punch - you will delight guests with a delicious dish and will not «you will get out» from the format of a pirate party.
